An Investigation of Gerardo Lanuza's Lies

I'm going to start by saying that I'm one of those who once look up to the supposed wisdom and knowledge of Gerardo Lanuza. His students and Facebook followers fondly called him "Sir Gerry" (Shout out to the Engels wanna be Carlo Cielo). I must say that his class is not your typical GE subject in UP. He will challenge the principles you hold so dear and bombard you with philosophical arguments, arguments that may verify or make you question your own principles.

But just like a lover that you don't know so much about, his fallacies and ignorance are latent in his words and writings. And on June 26, 2015, when he posted his infamous status, all of us saw the true color of Gerardo "Gerry" Lanuza, an anti-intellectual and lying S.O.B. I know these are harsh words for a person, but for someone who preaches philosophical ideas and made castigating of government officials his daily living, we will not tolerate! Here's the rub, Gerry: 

Most media outlets posted the news about a certain Tiffany Grace Uy who broke the highest grade record in post-WWII on 25 June 2015 (Apologies if the date is not clear in the photo given my lame editing skills, but if you want you can double check it via Google).

Let's now go to the faithful day of June 26, 2015-the post that made him the star that he is. To be exact about it, Lanuza posted his mind tingling ideas at exactly 11:06 AM of the said date. And just like the philosophers he worshiped, he said:

In just a few hours the post spreads like a wild fire given the euphoria of UP Diliman students and the public about Tiffany's amazing achievement (remember it's just a day after it became a news).  So after six hours Lanuza posted a defense and explained his side of the story:

However, here is the catch! Before the infamous post of Lanuza (Yah the one that made him the star he is today), he posted something that talks about a "At record-breaker pa ang grades halos 1.0 na" and this was posted 2 hours before his infamous post.

Now let's connect the facts shall we? 

1) Major Media Outlets posted about a certain Tiffany Grace Uy who broke highest grade record in post-WWII era on June 25, 2015; 

2) Lanuza posted his "infamous post" on June 26, 2015 at exactly 11:06 AM. In this post, he questions a certain person's achievement by citing (Nah Just read it my brain cells are dying every time I read that blunder). 

3) Six hours after, Lanuza denied that he is talking about a certain person, instead he is lambasting the so-called religion of grade consciousness)

4) Two hours before the "infamous post" and a day after the news about Tiffany Uy, he posted something that mentions of a "record-breaker pa ang grades halos 1.0 na". 

Lanuza's Defense: 

1) I don't know her, I just known Tiffany after I posted my infamous post.

Answer: For a man who posted multiple times per day about social and various issues, it is impossible that he missed that news about a UP Summa Cum Laude "record-breaker".  In fact, he even use the term "record-breaker" and "naka-uno sa lahat ng subjects" the day after the report was published. 

2) The post is about structural issues specifically the religion of grade consciousness and not a certain person. 

Answer: Yes, given that you even wrote an Inquirer article about it. But don't blatantly lie that you don't know Tiffany Uy prior to your infamous post! You even called her a puppy! And now because you earned the ire of everyone, you will freely remove the agency and focus on the structural aspect of your post. Shame on you S.O.B! 

Hopefully, this post illuminated the fact that Gerardo Lanuza has a clear knowledge of Tiffany Uy prior to his infamous post, and that his apologia is as good as crap! So for those who still follows this man, it is either you're a fanatic like Carlo Cielo or a terminal idiot, again like Carlo Cielo.
